[Dalmine (BG), Italy / New Delhi, India – 13 January 2026] – Cimprogetti S.p.A. announces the completion of a strategic milestone in its international growth journey by reaching 100% ownership of its Indian subsidiary, Cimprogetti of India Pvt. Ltd. (CIND).
This step further reinforces Cimprogetti’s long-term commitment to the Indian market, a region of strategic importance for the Group’s global development.
Established in July 2016 as a company initially 60% owned by Cimprogetti S.p.A. and with local partners as minority shareholders, Cimprogetti of India Pvt. Ltd. has become the Group’s hub for supplying plants and technologies to the lime industry in India and neighbouring countries, supporting both local growth and international operations.
Full ownership is fully consistent with the Group’s strategy to build a reference industrial platform in India, enhancing the operational efficiency of the entire Group while enabling closer supply chain integration, stronger governance, and the activation of technical and procurement synergies aimed at reducing costs and improving competitiveness.
Within this new framework, Cimprogetti of India has launched a governance strengthening program, including the appointment of a new Managing Director, supported by an enhanced organizational structure and targeted new hires designed to sustain the company’s development plan.
Following completion of the transaction, the coordination and oversight of Cimprogetti of India’s current and future activities will be ensured under the responsibility of Mr. Deepak Rai, appointed Managing Director & General Manager, providing management continuity, clear accountability, and full alignment with the Group’s strategic direction.
