July 2025 – Innovation Ignited: Dololime Kiln Flex Reversy® 6 Fires Up in Bhutan

We are proud to announce a major milestone: the successful installation of the Flex Reversy® 6 twin-shaft vertical dololime kiln at the Bhutan Flux and Refractories site, which has now entered the hot commissioning phase. The kiln heat-up began on June 23, 2025, and by the end of the month, it officially transitioned into production.
Final tuning activities are currently underway, and within the next few days, product quality is expected to reach the required standard for transferring to the storage silos.
This project marks the first regenerative kiln ever installed in Bhutan. Located at a dolomite mine in Bhutan, the kiln has a daily capacity of 300 tons. It is fired with pulverized coal and processes locally sourced dolomite.
Equipped with advanced instrumentation, intelligent control systems, and a fully customized design, the kiln ensures reliable operation and consistently high-quality dololime across multiple grades.
